In 2011, the Syrian people never believed that when they went out unarmed to protest peacefully and express their opinions, that the police would shoot live bullets at them!
The people of Syria did not believe that the Assad regime was so criminal.
The good and peaceful people of Syria did not think they would see their country destroyed by their own president.
The people of Syria did not think they would face dogs with sharp fangs who wanted to devour them.
But the truth was revealed to them.
They learned that their “rights” were only words on paper. And that when they demanded their promised rights, the response from the regime would be swift and brutal, delivered with unimaginable horrors and cruelty, like the world has never known.
