Not long after her marriage, this brave and kind Syrian woman joined the Syrian Civil Defense, as part of a team of eight women.
They tend to injured women and girls, teach them safety procedures, and teach First Aid to other women.
She is proud of her accomplishments, especially as a single parent, her dear husband was killed by the regime two years after they married.
But his encouragement and pride from the start still helps her to continue her work as a White Helmet, even while enduring the provocative and hurtful comments made by men in the area.
