Dean Obeidallah interview with Muhammad Najem and Nora Neus
Co-writers Nora Neus and Muhammad Najem are interviewed about their new book: Muhammad Najem, War Reporter by Dean Obeidallah on the Dean Obeidallah Show.
Neus is a CNN Producer whose compilation story of Najem’s war reporting, (on selfie videos inside war torn Eastern Ghouta, Syria), went viral. She met with Najem and his family to get their stories, and she found a publisher so the two could write a book about his life.
The book is out now and Obeidallah asks questions of the two writers on the origins of their relationship, how the book idea came about, and of Najem’s life in Syria as a child.
