Elderly Civilians in Northern Syria Camps
Perhaps there is nothing more heartbreaking than to see the conditions for the elderly in Syrian camps.
Most of them are alone in this world, with all their family murdered or disappeared by the Syrian regime.
They have no belongings, no home, no loved ones, and no hope left.
Their tragic fate is to sleep alone in the dirt and pray for death to ease their suffering.
The most vulnerable groups in society, the children and the elderly, suffer unbearable lives because the world has allowed these crimes against humanity to continue.
Please think about the elderly in Syria when you say your prayers, and when you contact your government representatives.
