Flooded Tents are the Latest Tragedy for Displaced Syrians

Imagine a peaceful revolution, followed by 10 years of the worst suffering.

War, bombs, genocide, and displacement are just a few of the horrors Bashar al-Assad placed on the people of Syria.

Now with millions internally displaced, the tent camps have become their only shelter.

But windy storms and torrential rains have flooded and destroyed their tents. The people are living in unbearable conditions—freezing cold rain, ice and snow, unsanitary, no fresh water, no heat, no food.

Even nature has turned on them. Is there no one to help to ease their suffering?
