Mass Graves are Dug for Victims of Earthquake in Idlib, Syria

With Mass casualties comes mass burials.
Residents of Idlib are dealing with the grim task of digging Mass graves for their dead.
Monday’s huge earthquakes have taken a toll on the people of Syria. Although rescue efforts continue, hope is fading at finding survivors. At some point soon this will become a recovery effort only, as the chance of surviving under the rubble, in freezing temperatures with no water for five days is very slim.
The number of deaths in northwestern Syria has risen to 2,166 (according to the White Helmets). The number of deaths in government-controlled areas of Syria is up to 1,347. The number of injured (being reported) in all of Syria is 5,245. That number is much higher, as these counts are only of those who have been treated in medical facilities.
