No School, No Friends, No Life

No School, No Friends, No Life

Syrian child Hamida is 12 years old. She wishes to be free as a bird to fly above the bombs and war and destruction.

Hamida’s “wing” was taken from her by a bomb when she was just two years old.

She lives among the ruins with her father but nothing is permanent. They travel to many different places to avoid death from bombs and missiles.

There is no safe place in Syria for Hamida or any other children like her.

The planes still come to find them and to drop bombs on them.

All children deserve safety, an education, a home, friends to play with, and laughter.

All children deserve a normal life.
