Syria Seen Through the Faces of Its Children
The displaced children of Syria see only poverty.
They see extreme temperatures of deadly, freezing cold.
They see hunger and thirst.
They see unlivable conditions, yet they struggle and fight to survive.
The Syria they see offers little joy or hope.
But their faces change when they’re in school.
They love to learn, and many dream of being teachers.
How amazing that these children who have nothing, understand the deep importance of an education.
