Taha…a Syrian Story of Hope and Pain

The boy Taha , eleven years old, lives with his family in a remotely located tent, with no water or electricity.

Taha was born with an illness that he can no longer be treated for, as they are too far away from the city and there is no work, no money–not even for basic needs.

The one thing keeping Taha going is his hope.

He hopes to return to the city, to receive treatment for his condition again, and to attend school again.

One day this will happen, we pray.

Despite his special situation and his young age, his biggest dream is to work and stand by his family.

Taha’s story is but one of the hundreds of thousands of children who were displaced from their homes to virtual death camps in #Syria.
