For these Syrian children, living in safety is their dream.
Far away from the bombs, death, and destruction.
Their future is unknown, they have no security.
To live in a tent camp is a very difficult reality. But there was no choice.
Their parents took them to the only places they could go, to keep their children from death.
No one “chooses” to live in a tent in the harshest living conditions.
No one “chooses” to take their babies on rafts in rough waters. Unless…there is “no choice”.
The children still dream of a life taken away from them, where there was safety and a sense of security.
Where they could play, attend school, fill their tummies with food, and sleep in a warm house.
But their reality is harsh and their future is unknown.
