The Enduring Struggle of the Syrian People

the Syrian People: Four years after the signing of the latest ceasefire agreement in Syria, innocent civilians continue to bear the heaviest burden. The Syrian regime and its allies, Russia and Iran, have relentlessly targeted liberated areas, showing no regard for the renewed human suffering caused by every airstrike or bombardment. The latest tragedy involved the loss of three children, targeted in cold blood, their innocence extinguished in a heart-wrenching moment that shakes the conscience of humanity.

These crimes are not exceptions but part of a recurring pattern over the years, claiming the lives of hundreds and leaving thousands wounded. Despite agreements that were supposed to guarantee safety, the regime has persisted in its desperate attempts to destabilize civilians, forcing them to leave their homes and ancestral lands where generations have lived.

Today, as responses to the Syrian regime and its allies escalate, a new dawn brings uplifting news for Syrians. Numerous villages and towns have been liberated from the grip of the regime, Russia, and Iran-backed militias. This marks a real opportunity for displaced people to return to their homes and lands, rebuild their lives, and find renewed hope.

The Syrian people, renowned for their love of freedom, continue their brave struggle despite all odds. These victories are not just steps toward reclaiming land but also a message of solidarity with all nations enduring similar oppression and tyranny. Perhaps the Ukrainian people can find solace in these developments, as Russia’s losses in Syria bring a glimmer of hope.

So far, Aleppo, Hama, and many other areas have been liberated up to the time of recording this video. I mention this because every hour brings the liberation of new areas as the regime collapses from within.

Today, after 14 long years, hope has been reignited. We may now be closer than ever to liberating our country and seeing all refugees return to their villages and homes, ending one of the world’s largest migration and displacement crises.

Our hearts are with the wounded, and our prayers are with those who sacrificed their lives for the dignity and freedom of their people. We will continue on this path, no matter how long and arduous, until our entire land is free, our rights are restored, and a new dawn of freedom and justice rises.
