the kidnapping of children in Ukraine by the Russian army

Recently, I received news about the kidnapping of children in Ukraine by the Russian army. I did not believe it, I asked myself how orphan children could be kidnapped, It is difficult to understand how anyone could stoop so low as to kidnap innocent children, especially those who have already suffered the pain of losing their parents and are living in orphanages. What kind of sick, twisted mind would even contemplate taking children from their nursemaid?

The Guardian article reveals that the Russian army’s intention is to send these children to Russia for adoption.
Some officials in charge of Ukraine orphanages had to resort to forging documents and giving children to Ukrainian families in order to protect them.

As reported, 16,226 children were deported to Russia, 10,513 of them were located, and 308 returned. It is deeply concerning that these children are being robbed of their identities and beliefs, and having foreign ideas implanted in their minds.

The Russian army’s attempts to erase these children’s identities and instill foreign ideologies are not only immoral but a grotesque violation of international law.

They do as ISIS did when it sowed ideas of hatred towards the world and recruited children and sent them to war after planting its extremist ideas inside their minds.

we must all demand to hold those responsible accountable for their crimes and stand all in solidarity with the Ukrainian people till they get their freedom.
