This is a tragic reality for those who have been displaced by the conflict—but it is also a reality that can be changed. There is no solution except for them to return to their homes. Ending the suffering of Syrians will require both political solutions in accordance with Resolution 2254 and holding the Assad regime accountable for its crimes.
