Arsal Refugee Camp, Lebanon

Arsal Refugee Camp, Lebanon

Arsal is a town 77 miles (124 kilometers) northeast of Beirut, Lebanon. There you will find massive tent camps set up for refugees of war.
When you watch this video, I ask you to imagine that you are there with your children, in one of these frozen tents.
Imagine the cold, the pain, the suffering, and the indignation. Also I ask you to imagine that you have to leave that tent, which provides very little protection from the elements, to go get fresh water.
These fellow human beings are freezing to death. They don’t even have their basic needs met, let alone security and safety for their families.
Is this what we want for the citizens of the world? For some to be placed in a neighboring country to live in the worst conditions because a war criminal tyrant wants them dead?
We all need to start speaking up about fair treatment for all human beings.
