Just a small child herself, but Anwar holds her little sister tightly, trying to keep her warm in the freezing cold temperatures.
Anwar and Mona are sisters who live in a camp for IDPs in Idlib, Syria. Their situation is so dire but they haven’t lost their compassion and love for each other.
Every day these little girls, and so many more like them, face the fear of hunger and freezing cold. Their lives are miserable, as you can imagine. They have nothing. Survival is all they can pray for, as anything beyond that is impossible.
We ask for God’s kind mercy for these precious babies, and the others who know only suffering in these camps for refugees of Bashar al-Assad’s war.
