Never Give Up
17-year-old Salma Marouf is continuing her education thanks to encouragement from the female White Helmet volunteers.
Born with Thalassemia, (an illness where there is too much iron in the blood), Salma has been sick all her life.
She was bullied at school and quit for awhile.
The female White Helmets who treated her illness also taught her First Aid and how to check her own levels to stay healthy.
They encouraged her to go back to school and complete her education, which she is now doing.
Now Salma helps other children who have been bullied.
Kindness is never wasted time, it creates a circle where it is passed on and shared.
