The Honest Voice Never Dies
Journalist Shireen Abu Akleh was murdered in cold blood, purposely shot in the face while wearing her PRESS vest in the West Bank city of Jenin, reporting on Israeli military raids.
Akleh was a Palestinian-American journalist who worked for Al Jazeera, and at 51 years old was loved and respected by millions of viewers.
Journalists are the voices of truth for the world. By international rules of war, they are not to be harmed. At what point did it become acceptable to murder journalists?
The world has been turning a blind eye to these war crimes and it must stop now!
No more dead journalists!
Let it be known that these criminals cannot stop the truth coming out by killing the messengers of truth. If they kill one journalist, we will replace that journalist with five more journalists.
The truth will not be buried. And those who murder innocent civilians who are reporting to the world, will see their day of justice.
As those carrying Akleh’s coffin chanted, “The honest voice never dies”.
Shireen, you will be missed. God bless you, and thank you for your work.
