The Joy of Giving: A Call to Action

The Joy of Giving: Have you ever felt a deep sense of happiness when you helped someone in need? How did it feel in that moment? Did you feel even happier than the person who received the help? If you haven’t experienced this yet, I strongly encourage you to try it. Go out and offer assistance to a child or someone in need, and then tell me how you felt. Consider it an experience, an adventure, or even a challenge.

When you ask someone about their problems, worries, and the challenges they face daily just to provide food for their family and children, you’ll realize how small your own problems seem in comparison. And when you extend a helping hand to them, you’ll return home filled with satisfaction and happiness, knowing that you’ve made a real difference in someone’s life.

On September 5th, we celebrate the International Day of Charity, a day that embodies our solidarity with all volunteers and workers in the field of charity, who provide assistance in places that may pose a danger to their lives. It’s a day to thank the United Nations and all global and local organizations for their ongoing efforts in helping those in desperate need.

However, we must not overlook the fact that millions of people still live below the poverty line, and many continue to suffer from a lack of basic necessities. Therefore, I urge all of you to stand together and continue to give whatever you can, even if it’s something small. Through our collective efforts, we can support many families and children.

Finally, I would like to express my deepest gratitude from the bottom of my heart to all those working in the humanitarian field. Thank you all for your efforts and dedication.
